Newquay from Trevelgue Head - Cornwall20

Newquay from Trevelgue Head | Cornwall Coastal Photography Gallery

Late evening shot taken from the tip of Trevelgue Head looking south down the cliffs towards the coastal tourist town of Newquay in Cornwall. The Atlantic waves crash against the rocky headland at Wine Cove. The spectacular promontory fort & cliff castle at Trevelgue Head to the north of Newquay on the north Cornish coast is one of the most spectacular ancient monuments in Cornwall region. There are eight massive earth and stone ramparts along with two large Early Bronze Age barrows.
