Staithes from Cowbar

Popular Fishing Village of Staithes on the Yorkshire Coast | Landscape Photography by Nick Cockman

This is my take on the the classic view of the North Yorkshire fishing village of Staithes taken from Cowbar looking down over Roxby Beck. Staithes most famous resident was Captain James Cook who lived here between 1745-1746, the present day Staithes is a real tourist attraction with people combining visits on trips to nearby Whitby and the North York Moors.
