Image in the September Edition of Countryfile Magazine

My latest published image appears in the September 2013 edition of Countryfile Magazine which has one of my images from Wentworth Village just south of Barnsley as part of their feature on 12 must-visit British villages. It's nice to get my name alongside the picture with the image credit as well which doesn't always happen with magazines, hopefully the connections made when arranging this will lead to bigger and better things. The image needed for the magazine was very specific so I had to make sure I got the viewpoint correct and be there in the best possible light. Sorry about the quality of the phone image above, here is the image used:

Wentworth is home to the country house Wentworth Woodhouse which remains a relatively unknown Grade 1 listed building which has a 185 metre facade making this the longest facade of any country house in europe and the largest private house in England. The house is stunning and well worth a walk to if you are in the area, you can't normally go in but there are starting to run more tours. I made a couple of visit to Wentworth to get this shot along with a few others of the village, here are a few others from my visits to Wentworth Woodhouse and also the village of Wentworth and the Needles Eye:
