Landscape photograhy from the Scottish Highlands, including trips to Glen Coe, the Isle of Syke and most recently the Cairngorms National Park.

I make regular trips to the Scottish Highlands to photograph the mountains, lochs and waterfalls in the beautiful highland region. I tend to visit during early autumn to make the most of the conditions when the colour of the Scottish landscape changes from summer green through to autumn brown. I have made numerous trips to Glencoe where I have experienced some of the best conditions for landscape photography and can not wait to return on my next trip.

My popular location guide blog posts with maps have detailed information for popular photography spots in the highlands some of which feature in this Scottish landscape portfolio. My most popular guide from Glencoe > features the classic viewpoints from the dramatic Scottish valley with details of the locations of the most famous viewpoints of the Glencoe mountains and waterfalls. I also have guides to photographing the mountains of the Isle of Skye > and locations around Aviemore in the Cairngorm National Park >.
