Local Scenes - Penistone - Yorkshire

I'm currently working on a long-term project to capture the landscapes around my local area. I often walk around the local area at the weekends thinking that a lot of the landscape would make great photographs if lighting was correct. I live right next to the Trans-Pennine Trail route with easy access down the old railway lines towards Dunford Bridge and Wortley. Penistone sits on the banks of the River Don as it makes its way down the valley towards Sheffield. The Area features lots of different natural landscapes ranging from Riverside views to open fields and out towards the moorlands of the Peak District National Park. Throughout 2019 I hope to build up a portfolio of images featuring the best views and scenes that my home area has to offer. I often travel a number of hours to visit locations such as the Lake District and the North Yorkshire Moors however, I feel that now it's time that I look closer to home and spend some time exploring the locations within easy reach. I made a start on this project during autumn 2018 and have attached the first of this new set of images below:
