Moss Force Waterfall

The upper falls of Moss Force can be accessed by a short scramble up the rocks to this pool at the foot of this middle section of the falls. Moss Force in total is around 100 metres in length with several sections and is accessed from Newlands Hause, the pass between the Newlands Valley and the Buttermere Valley. The falls are on the route of the Wainwright Memorial Walk which is a 102 mile walk created and designed by the famous British fellwalker Alfred Wainwright.
