Glencoe and the Stob a Ghlais Choire Mountain - Scottish Highlands
This photograph taken on the banks of the River Coupall just up the river from the famous waterfall looks back downstream towards the Glencoe Mountain Ski area and the Stob a Ghlais Choire Mountain. The afternoon gloom that we had experienced for most of the week cleared for around half an hour with the remaining cloud in the sky lighting up with a beautiful winter sunset for just long enough for me to get set and compose a few shots in different directions stood in and around the ice cold river. The backdrop of Sron na Creise on the Stob a Ghlais Choire made for an impressive view with the snow covered Glencoe ski area high up on the left.
